Beverly A. Pekala has appeared on a variety of local and national news and talk show programs, including CNN, the Today Show, and Good Morning America. She is often consulted as a legal expert on family law and related topics.
Throughout her career, Beverly has represented clients in highly publicized cases and garnered media attention. Ms. Pekala negotiated a television movie and book based upon her representation of a battered woman who was stalked by her former husband and whose failed attempt to murder her was captured on film by the FBI.
Beverly is frequently interviewed as an expert in the area of matrimonial and family law issues. She has been quoted as an expert in USA Today, the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, and magazines, internet publications and publications of general interest.
Beverly Pekala has hosted her own radio show, The Family Law Hour, on Chicago’s WCKG Radio. Her one hour weekly program dealt with family law topics. Guests included the Illinois Attorney General, the Cook County State’s Attorney, as well as a variety of financial and psychological experts dealing with family law issues. She has also been interviewed on various radio programs on financial and family law topics.
Beverly is the author of Don’t Settle For Less (Doubleday), a guide for the non-lawyer on the legal process of divorce, custody and financial matters. In addition, she has authored other publications and acts as a consultant to authors.
